This will prevent infection and allow the function of these socks to work at their highest advantage. How often and how long you should wear these socks depend on your doctor you should not purchase these if you are diabetic without consulting with a doctor first. This can lead to major problems if you are diabetic and you decide to buy these socks and purchase the wrong type. These are made different so make sure you know how these socks are worn before you make your purchase.
